The BBC has released all threepromotional images of Matt Smith and incoming companion Jenna-Louise Coleman. Rumour has it that her character's name is Clara.
Notice that the Doctor's costume has changed again. Is this temporary or permanent? We'll find out in a few months' time.

New companion, new costume. Makes sense to me. Glad the bow tie remains though.
Interesting. Is that the TARDIS and another person in the background? What appears to be a person looks like someone just wandered into the shot that wasn't supposed to be there, but we all know they don't make those kind of mistakes on DW.

Hope she gets rid of the handbag. Not very practical when trying to sprint down corridors and tunnels while being chased by aliens, stands out (bright red!) when trying to hide, and wouldn't be very effective if she tried wacking a Dalek or Weeping Angel. But then again, is there something in the handbag that will help her escape tricky situations (maybe a special pepper spray for use on Dalek eyestalks or the stony eyes of Weeping Angels?)
