The plot thickens in episode two of The Politician's Husband. Aiden Hoynes is a rather nasty character isn't he. Of course I couldn't help but notice two very tenuous Whovian links: (1) The crack in the bedroom ceiling. (2) The fake name used by Aiden to set up the Twitter account; John Smith.
Not so tenuous in my mind.
Yes, Aiden is indeed a nasty character, but I wonder if Freya is any better? I was left wondering if she had asked the houskeeper to begin an affair with Aiden, so that when news of the affair is made public, Aidan would be publicly disgraced (thus ending his political career) and Freya would be elevated politically with the help of public sympathy. What do others think?

That is quite possible. Aiden & Freya may end up destroying each other with that smarmy git Bruce ending up a winner.

Also wondering if @deepthroat25 is linked to the fact that the 25th incarnation of the Doctor was Deepthroat in Watergate.

Not to mention time travel :)...I'm pretty sure the production date at the end of the last credits said MMXX111 (2023)

So after six episodes what did I think of Glitch?
Well I enjoyed it, despite a few slow patches in the 4th & 5th episodes. I'll rate Glitch at 4 out of 5 Photons:
I wonder if there will be a second series ?

I thought Glitch was really good. I am hoping for a second series as there are quite a few unanswered questions. Much preferred this Australian drama to the tedious Janet King. (Just my opinion!)

Well I didn't expect that ending ! I was glad to see Bruce crash & burn, he only had himself to blame.

An unsatisfactory ending. Aiden killed his father as surely as if he had shot him. When she realised he wanted to destroy her too Freya told him she would take the children away somewhere and he could leave the house then. I expected her to survive politically but alone after suffering all his jealousy and anger.

I actually thought the ending was okay, although it was a bit of a jump from the previous scene. Perhaps a few events in the 6 months leading up to Freya's appointment as PM should have been shown. Still give it 4 stars - good insight into the cesspit of politics - act first without thinking of the consequences.
I wonder if there are going to be follow-up series? Series 2: Aiden toppling Freya from the top job to become PM. Series 3: Aiden bewing discredited and forced to resign from politics.

I agree with the 4 stars. I enjoyed the series but the ending seemed more suitable for American audiences who, I have heard, like "happy endings". There was such a huge gap between the last two scenes it was unbelievable. If there is a second series it may explain the missing bit but why she stayed with him, and made him Deputy PM, needed far more explanation. As it is he can watch her 24 hours a day. Not a good situation despite the smiles and kisses on the steps of No 10.

So how will the UK version of “Humans” compare to the original Swedish “Real Humans” ? Ask me after 2 or 3 episodes. Humans starts on ABC2 tonight at 8:30pm.
http://www.abc.net.au/tv/programs/humans/
OK, we've got to Episode 3. I feel that the UK version rates equal with the Swedish or original.

What we've all been waiting for ...............NOT ! Mark Latham and Karl Stefanovic to appear in new Q&A style show on Nine. I predict that the guest list will include lots of Shock Jocks and Sports People.

With Mark Latham’s reputation for using “colourful language” I assume the director will have the 7 second delay and dump button ready to use.

Did Monday night’s political circus distract you from
watching “Humans” on ABC2?
Go to iView ASAP !
It was the second last episode and ended with a cliff hanger.
Do Not Miss the final episode next Monday.
