It was excellent. Most of what James Nesbitt does is really good. Looking forward to the rest of it. Just hope there is some sort of happy ending.

I'm a bit apprehensive about the ending too, almost didn't watch it.

I can't see how it can end well, but full disclosure I also have no imagination.   So fingers crossed.

Last night's episode was very gripping, it went all too quickly.  What a horrible and distressing end to the episode.  Both James Nesbitt and Frances O'Connor perform extreme well in this series - Frances' delusional scene at the swimming pool was particularly heartbreaking.

Also worth a look is The Family Law on SBS at 8:30pm tonight.

Even the ABC has nice things to say about it:

I saw him on one plus one a few days ago.  It made me sufficiently interested to record tonight's show which I may watch tomorrow, or wait for the complete series.

Worth a look tonight is Exile starring John Sim, its on ABC at 9:32pm.

"A three-part psychological thriller that tells the story of prodigal redemption, as a son returns to his hometown to reconnect with his father and learn the truth about what happened between them years before."

http://www.abc.net.au/tv/programs/exile/

I wonder if John Simm still hears those drums?  :/

A very emotional ending to Exile, very good acting by John Simm, Olivia Colman & Jim Broadbent.

I rate Exile at 4 out of 5 Photons:  8)8)8)8):|

Series 3 has been shown before surely ? I've had it on DVD for about a year.

The Sherlock "retro" episode "The Abominable Bride" has been shown in cinemas from Jan 2, but I've seen no word on a ABC TV date.

The Missing - what an intriguing twist to the end of last night's episode.  I wonder if Ian Garrett is really dead or he has just disappeared off the radar?

Did you see Inside Men on ABC last night?

"A thrilling drama about three employees of a security depot who plan and execute a multi-million pound cash heist."

http://www.abc.net.au/tv/programs/inside-men/#/episode/ZW0516A001S00

They've got the cash, but will they get away with it ?    :/

Looking forward to the next episode.

The fourth and final episode of Inside Men was slightly disappointing.

I was expecting a more dramatic ending with a shoot out.

More of a whimper than a bang.  :/

I find it hard to believe that the Bear would allow humans to handle her new born cubs.

She would be very protective of her babies.

Apart from that, it was another enjoyable episode of Our Zoo.   :)

I agree with all your comments Photon.  The Clegyman is single minded.  He wants John out of the way so he can have his wife whom he obviously fancies.

Tonight was sheer theatre.  No one would or should have been in with the bear and most certainly should not have handled her cubs.  Their smell on them could have caused her to reject them.
