Michelle Guthrie appoints Murdoch consultant to restructure ABC.

Jaws drop at ABC as Michelle Guthrie defends Radio National cuts.

It's getting worse than the Howard era!

I really wish Christensen, Bernadi et al would have the guts to leave the Libs and form their own Nazi Party or whatever. That would give Turnbull some clean air to make reasonable policy.

True which is why Turnbull needs to tell them to shut up or get out.

The SMH's Peter Hartcher compares Malcolm Turnbull and John Key's respective leadership styles, talk about chalk and cheese!

Deep down, even Turnbull knows that his days are limited.

Punch Up at One Nation head office .......

A top One Nation figure touted as a future leader of the party in its Queensland heartland is being investigated by police over assault allegations.

Sean Black, media and policy adviser to outspoken One Nation senator Malcolm Roberts, is the subject of a complaint of alleged assault lodged with Queensland Police in August, Fairfax Media can reveal.

Details of the allegations cannot be reported for legal reasons.

It appears that Tinfoil's advisor has been a member of both the ALP and NLP prior to joining One Nation.

SMH Editorial  .............

For all intents and purposes Australia now has two federal governments.

Government number one appears to front the people, attend official functions, promise things then backtrack.

Government number two seems to call the shots and kybosh the other's policy.

No prize for guessing who is the putative leader of the former and who leads the latter.

Every December as Christmas approaches Shock Jocks and Right-Wing pollies dig out the same old myths about “politically correct” lefties trying to sabotage Christmas.

This year its the turn of Ray Hadley and his good mate Peter Dutton.

Angered by a talkback radio caller whose grandchild's school eschewed traditional carols for a secular celebration, Mr Dutton said the "vast majority of Australian people want to hear Christmas carols" as we are "a Christian society".

I call this recycled story Total Bullshit!

Do Hadley & Dutton buy their straw-men in bulk?

“ You call that a budget improvement?   The ratings agencies won't “

Fairfax Media’s Peter Martin is not impressed with Scott Morrison’s mid-year budget statement.

Neither are a large number of Fairfax readers.   :|

I imagine that Pauline Pantsdown is at the keyboard right now, composing the song "Pain in My Backside".

I think most people just want to get off work and go to the beach or their backyard pools.
