Yes, the next episode looks good. It appears that we will learn more about what happened to Miss Quill while the students were in detention. | |

Dont know about the first two but really enjoyed last nights trapped with a meteor with a prisoners consciousness episode and next week its all Miss Quill, Miss Quill and Miss Quill...and with long hair to boot!:P:P | |

Yep. I will happily serve detention in Miss Quill's class anytime...but joking aside Katherine Kelly is perfect casting imho. Hopefully she will go onto other things in the Whoineverse should Class last only last one series. | |

Yes, agree with you 100% that Katherine Kelly is perfect casting, SJ4. Miss Quill is one bad gal. I've been trying to work out what's been bugging me about the show and I think it's because everyone in the "the school gang" is a different type of social misfit. Misfits usually gang together, but they are usually the same type of misfit. "Detained" succeeded to some degree in cementing the gang members together as a group, but each gang member is so different, the relationships between them don't seem to me to be realistic.

I felt the team wasn't quite together since episode 1 but have hoped ithis would improve as the show went on, but I still feel the same way. The sudden confession of love by Ram to April was so, well, sudden. In one episoe he was grieving over his girlfriend who was killed by the Shadow King, two episodes later, he was in love? Not quite realistic. The Prince was too wooden, I know he is an alien but he doesn't seem to have any clues to anything. I am a bit disappointed by the show. But Ms Quill is great, she is easily the best character in the show. | |

It seems as if Episode 7 will have a few direct connections with Doctor Who. Photon, you may be right about the head teacher being from UNIT. | |

Yes Class is a starnge beast but the reviews have all been good with some 5 stars awarded by the mainstream press. Hopefully the ratings are going well too. I suspect there will be an annoncement on series two before the end of the year. Meanwhile I am looking forward to the UNIT connection,if true and, hopefully, another brief appearance by 13 before the end of the season run if they have managed to keep the filming a secret.... | |

I am sure I heard the new headmistress denying she was from UNIT. Been thinking about the name Ms Quill. Quill is the name for the main character in the movie Guardians of the Galaxy. Ms Quill seems to me to be the gaudian of the class. Ummmm | |

Boy am I glad I waited to see this episode on free to air - it was a cracker!! Of course in my opinion any episode which basically featured Miss Quill was always going to be awesome but this was first class stuff. Brilliant writing, great dialogue, basic but effective effects and it tied everything up nicely with a real twist at the end. But how unlucky was Miss Q - one sh*g to a now dead alien and she is expecting...sheesh now that was something I did not see coming. What a shame next week is the last episode. I really hope they decide to commission a sequel but the viewer ratings are not that good because it is shown on-line only in the UK...:( | |

Wow, I thought last week's episode was brilliant, but the final episode is even better. Lots of drama leading up to "The Arrival". And there's a strong connection between The Governors and an enemy of the Doctor. Lots of twists and surprises, especially the ending, which augers well for a 2nd series (I hope). 5 STARS | |
