Pyne is more effeminate than a Cyberman, but I can see where you're coming from.

Huw parkinson. never understood how people over 5 y.o. could find his clips funny. lamest load of suck ever. insiders already had really good satire with the 'talking pictures'segment.

Satire doesn't have to be rolling in the aisles laughing funny, it makes it's point by highlighting absurdities in general human behaviour and exaggerating them for emphasis. Shows like Yes Minister weren't full of funny jokes either but they exposed the way things really worked in government very effectively. The same goes for Clarke and Dawe in my opinion.

According to the promo clip for this week's Dr Who, the Doctor recognises that voice.
But will we ? Anyone want to guess who is the owner of the voice? My tip ? It's not The Master.

Ever since episode 1 I've had the feeling that 'Tim Shaw' would be returning. I'd be very surprised if it wasn't him.

Site Owner Posts: 3410 | A solid end to a solid series. So pleased they didn't drag all the planets back into place in the TARDIS series 4 finale style. I really like this Doctor. I feel she is more respectful of other peoples and cultures than previous incarnations. Well done Chris Chibnall. You have a fan in me. Finale: 4.5 stars. Series: 4 stars.

Great series, goes right back to the tom baker era, simplified stories. maybe the budget has been cut ,- brexit means brits will be poor trash of europe now. always a lesson for the young ones in there. no need to watch twice, consult a wiki, take notes, and go to a forum for an explanation. still think the audio is crap.

The Doctor's dialog is irritating to me. Asking herself questions then trying to answer them, changing her mind is distracting. Last nights show was boring and predicable, very little suspence and tottered to a lame ending. Not happy I'm afraid.

Didn't watch it, but four of my work colleagues who did, have said this morning that they were not impressed. One commented that Tim Shaw was a poor imitation of Darth Vader. I don't know how accurate that criticism is, but I thought I'd pass on that comment for discussion.

A good description of Tim, quite a weak enemy compared to the traditional Daleks, Cybermen etc. And with a name like Tim Shaw, with all the connotations in Australia, makes him/it into a figure of fun rather than a threat. Maybe they should have gone all the way and given him fingers made of steak knives and made his home planet Demtel. And for those who have no idea what I'm talking about:-
